September Gardening Class for Beginners

Join me Saturday, September 26 from 7:30-9 am for a hands-on Fall Gardening for Beginners workshop in a real working garden.

Location: 1514 N. McDonald St. McKinney, TX 75071

The garden is located BEHIND the Blue tin-roof building

We'll talk about what to plant NOW, seeds vs. transplants, succession planting, soil preparation, watering, spacing and more, and we'll actually do some planting and digging together.

• Space is limited to keep the workshop personal and hands-on. Advance registration and payment are required.

What to wear/bring:
Wear comfortable clothes (preferably long sleeves/long pants) and closed-toe shoes suitable for working around a garden. You may also want to bring gardening gloves, water, sunscreen and a hat.

Participants will be asked to sign a waiver before the workshop begins.

Please note: This is a privately offered gardening class being held in a working community garden. It is not a volunteer event or fundraiser for the host location.

Tier 3: Harvest Package $2,000-$5,000

90-minute in person workshop. Any course from Tier 2 PLUS advanced gardening techniques such as soil health, composting, maximizing yield, hands-on demonstration, printable & downloadable resource guide, 30-minute leadership session for ministry outreach

Because our courses are designed for group learning environments, it is offered through event or organizational licensing. This course is not merely instructional, it is formative. Designed to move beyond inspiration into reflection and action, From Soil to Soul serves as both teaching and invitation.
